Thousands go the extra mile for charity run

HUNDREDS lined the streets yesterday to cheer home the runners in the HSBC Cardiff 10k run.

More than 3,000 people, including internationally-renowned classical singer Katherine Jenkins and rugby star Mike Phillips, pounded the roads around the sun-lit capital on Sunday morning to help raise money for the Children's Kidney Centre at the University Hospital Of Wales.
