A 2001 Beechcraft KingAir B200, crashed at the Hayward Airport (KHWD) just after noon today. The aircraft is registered to Henry Broadcasting Nevada Inc.
The aircraft was heading to San Carlos. Historically, the plane appears to fly to San Carlos and Carson several times a month. Some sources are stating that it was a maintenance flight.
A problem ocurred during or just after takeoff that resulted in the crash. The pilot was able to walk away from the aircraft of his own power, despite what appears to be extensive damage to the airframe.
