Robert Berkebile, the founding principal of BNIM Architects, has been selected to receive a $100,000 Heinz Award for promoting green building design and helping restore communities through sustainable architecture and planning.
The Heinz Awards are presented by the Heinz Family Foundation in Pittsburgh in memory of the late U.S. Sen. John Heinz. This year, the awards were presented for commitment to the environment.
